I am gonna be at the lynwood drag strip this saturday the 9th at 10 a.m. till 12 p.m. if it doesn't rain otherwise I will be there on the 23rd from 10 to 12. Now who is gonna bracket race me with my nitro 4 tec? Look for a r/c car with a black and red hpi 1967 Chevy Corvette body on it. I gotta make some test passes on it first when I get there to make sure it's all tuned right and etc. then it's bracket racing time. : ) The owner of the track said I can bracket race anyone between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Here is a new picture of my r/c car.

I'l race you with my Skcool U Bus if you want. There will be several others there because it is a Lynwood points race final.

I took my car to lynwood last saturday. No one would bracket race me unless I entered the big race so I just did a few test passes with my car to see what it would do. It was to much of a handful for me. It runs way straighter on 159ths parking lot that on that drag strip that's covered with vht. I guess the vht all over the track is overkill for 4 wheel drive cars. One guy raced me heads up but he had a nitro pro mod so of course he won. He ran a 2.16 with a .50 light I ran like a 3.73 with a .80 light. I suck at lights. They drop way to fast at that track. I heard it's because it's a pro tree. My best pass that day was a 3.35 at 41.9 mph and my best light was .67 or a .69 I ran like a 3.73 twice because I had to correct the car twice on each pass. That first pass that I did a 3.35 at 41.9 mph I only had to correct the car once. Still I didn't think that car would run that fast. I didn't even have tire traction compound on my foam tires. That track was real sticky with that vht down.
