Man what a fun truck.
For those of you who don't know what it is, it is a 1/10th truck with a 1/8th drive train. So, what do you get when you put a .25 in a short wheel base truck? Wheelies!! And lots of them. This thing keeps the nose to the sky as long as you keep your finger on the trigger. I had it out in a parking lot after break in and you couldn't wipe the smile off my face. And with a huge fuel tank, stopping to fill up is kept to a minimum.
With all that speed you need good brakes, and the TT delivers. The brake pads are applied directly to the steel spur gear. A quick hit of the brakes will put the back end in the air (and if you not careful over the front).
The tires made me wonder when i took it out of the box. "No foam?" i said out loud. But with the low profile of the tires it didn't hurt it at all. The hexes are an odd size, so rim choice is limited. But these tires seemed to hold good to the the black top and the lose dirt i ran in.
I wasn't able to really beat on it. I figured i would wait till i had a camera man present. But this truck is on its way to getting a big 'ol Bashers Seal Of Approval!
