We've got a brushless Stampede we've been wanting to mess around with. Is there anyone out there looking to race it just for shits and giggles?
Where's a local track whee we could get a number on the truck too? I've heard of Lynwood and the Underground place, do they both have timing systems? Do people still go to torrence?

Maybe we'll try to get out there Sat.
I just took the motor out today, and when I pulled the one motor wire out of the ESC, it broke the solder joint on the circuit board and the whole terminal came out. So I need to re-solder that if I can before it'll run again.
We've spent quite a bit of time trying to get the truck to run consistently...All it wanted to do at first was wheelie, flip, or spin itself out of control. Now it's lowered with foams and a few other tricks, and it's running way better.

Flipping & and spinning out is all this truck wanted to do also . The right set up kind of straightened it out . Notice the dirt tires on back , it keeps spinning out the rims , but the knobbies actually hook up . Also there was a guy w/ an E-Maxx w/ twin brushless motors at 159th street (Torrence).

We ran the stock tires for a while, but they'd balloon up way too much and cause it to be uncontrollable at higher speeds. The foams helped a TON. It's also more prone to just sliding out now instead of flipping.

I'M HAVING BIGGER PROBLEMS W/ MY BIG BLOCK TRUCK , I SPUN OUT ONE OF THE WHEELS AND THAT HAS A 17mm CONV. KIT ON IT , NOW THATS INSANE POWER w/ CRAZY GEARING , PLUS MY FRONT DIFF. IS SKIPPING A LITTLE . I'M STRIPPING MY S-MAXX DOWN TONIGHT SO IF THE WEATHER IS RIGHT MY SH** RUNS ALL DAY & NIGHT , IF ALL GOES WELL , HEAD OUT TO 159th STREET AFTERWARDS AND MAKE A FULL DAY OF RACING. Norman

I want to check out Lynwood for sure...If that's a no-go we'll stop by Torrence.
Hopefully the rain dries up by tomorrow morning.
