It was another fun day of drag racing! This time it was during a 4th of July weekend block party type thing that also hosted
a real car holeshot event. There were a ton of spectators which made the event really fun. To hear the 'Ooohs and Ahhs' of the crowd as the cars
raced down the track was really a good feeling. Mike Ogle from
Grand Motor Sports was there as well as
, Tim Mohr, Pro Driver representing Apogee and
Castle Creations. Even the owner of Apogee, Bill Birmingham, was there to show people what's up.
One of the coolest vehicles was Nitro Rage's custom dragster, Grim Reaper. Modeled after his own REAL dragster! The car was just an amazing piece of work! It was huge, original and cool!
There was also a kid there (Sorry, I didn't get his name) who had a really fast nitro dragster. He made a ton of runs with it to the delight of the audience.
I'll post more about the days events in the
forum, so make sure to check it out.
