10th Anniversary Bash!
It is on! Our Big Squid RC 10th Anniversary Bash is coming up quick, and we wanted to give you a few more details. If you live within driving distance of the Chicago Area, and by that we mean NORTH AMERICA, you are going to want to figure out how to attend this one. Every bash we pull out some cool surprises and giveaways, and this one is going to be special!
How special are the raffle prizes this time?
Well, it’s finally been announced! We are giving away a new Axial YETI XL! That’s right! Axial has hooked us up for our 10th Anniversary Bash by getting us a Yeti XL to give away before anyone can even buy one!! How awesome is that! Besides us, the winner will be one of a few people on the PLANET that will have one in their hands!
Want another awesome prize example? How about a new Futaba 4PX!
Pro-Line Racing has some stuff coming our way! (We will update when we get it in hand)
RPM Racing has hooked us up with a few cool prizes as well!
Of course we will have tons of swag to give away from a bunch of sponsors.
We will update this list with more details soon, so keep checking back.
We would like to thank our prize sponsors: Hobbico, Futaba, Pro-Line, Axial, RPM, and more!
The bash is being held on October 19th, 2014 at Leisure Hours Raceway in Joliet. Registration starts at 10am, events at 11am!
Events include Obstacle Course, Demolition Derby, Long Jump, Multi-Vehicle Sumo, and a few more surprises!
Events are open to 1/8th and 1/10th scale Monster Trucks, SC’s and just about anything else that size. It’s all for fun and to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, so run what ya brung. Maybe we will have cake!
Entry Fee is $10 per person. You can run different vehicles in different events, but you can only run once in each. (For Example, you can’t run 2 SC’s, a monster truck, and a truggy in obstacle course. Pick one, and run it)
ALL PROFITS will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital a great place to support, you can visit their site HERE.
Most of the Big Squid RC bash crew will be in attendance, so at least come out and say hi! If you don’t want to participate, you are more than welcome to watch as there are some great spectator events happening.
