2.4 GHz Radio Transmitter Shootout – 2 – Appearance
While most people don’t care what a radio looks like, if it feels good in your hand, and it does all the stuff you want it to do, that should be the one you choose. That being said, there are radios you wouldn’t even consider picking up based on their looks. It’s just how people are. We rated these how we each thought they looked.
So like we mention in our reviews, this is all about the ‘Car Show Rating’.

The Turnigy GTX3 had a look like it was the future of radios. The huge screen, the lowered steering wheel, it really stood out among all the other radios.
None of the radios were ‘bad’ this time around. We have had our share of ugly transmitters, but these were all acceptable.
The more modern ‘lower steering wheel’ look was missing from the Futaba’s.
