BASH-A-PALOOZA 2011 – Horizon Hobby Booth

As part of our BASH-A-PALOOZA 2011 coverage, we will be posting a few pics of each booth around the hall, or at least as many booths as we can get to. Just check out the gallery at the bottom of each post and it will be like you’re right here with us!

The Horizon Hobby booth is jam packed full of stuff this year! On top of all the planes, helis, Losi, and Elextrix stuff, they have a sweet demo track to let people get a feel for some of their vehicles. Check out the pics in the gallery below!

Now for the good stuff. It’s no secret that we are pretty big fans of the Electrix RC stuff. Our review of the Electrix RC Boost Buggy has spawned a ton of e-mails from people wanting one bad, but being unable to find them. Brian and I went straight to the source and we’re told that the Boost will be in stock around the U.S. in a matter of days. There were some issues with the included wall charger that were discovered so the shipment was held until that was fixed. Hats off to Electrix for doing the top notch quality control testing, and fixing the issue!

There have also been some rumors about a new Electrix RC vehicle of the short course variety! These rumors have even included whispers that this will be the first Electrix RC vehicle to ship with a brand new 2.4GHz radio system! When we went to the source with this one, their lips were sealed. I guess this will have to remain a rumor…for now. Just remember that if it does come true, you read it here first!
