Here we are, the end of 2020, and it’s time to pick the Scale Vehicle of the Year. This year was especially difficult because there were a bunch of new contenders in the class. I think there are still a few of the Big Squid Crew arguing for their favorite as we finish the post. It was a hard decision, but the 2020 Big Squid RC Scale Vehicle of the YEAR goes to the Axial SCX10 III! The SCX10 III was the vehicle of choice at Axialfest 2020, it has proven itself over and over that it came to compete, and aftermarket crowd has really started showing it some love. Like we mentioned, the scale vehicle of the year category was TOUGH in 2020. The other vehicles (some are still arguing for) were the incredible CEN Racing DL Series Ford F-450 Dually which came out of left field to take the scale world by storm, the Losi LMT Monster Truck that is going to be dominating the monster truck scene in 2021, as well as the Redcat Racing Sixty Four Lowrider that surprised the entire RC industry.

What an incredible year for scale fans! There was something for everyone in just about every class of RC. We hope 2021 brings as much if not more innovation and realism.
