BigSquidRC Appoints “Hawaiian” Chris Liwanag As Sales Director

As previously mentioned in THE Cub Report, “Hawaiian” Chris Liwanag has been named as our new Sales Director.

Chris was originally born in the Philippines, but moved to Chicago at a young age. Chris went to school here in America and joined the United States military when he got older. Slot cars and full scale drag racing are some of Chris’ hobbies other than rc.

In the rc world, Chris has been an official member of the BigSquidRC Bash Crew for over a decade helping us do reviews, and some of you industry people will know Chris from seeing him at the Toledo and Lincoln trade shows. For rc cars, Chris is a true basher, he runs pretty much anything and everything from micros to 1/5th scale. Also of note, Chris probably drives rc cars more than anyone else we know, and that is saying something. Running rc cars isn’t just a weekend or once a week type of deal for Chris, he eats, sleeps, and breathes rc.

Chris will be emailing many of you working inside the industry in the near future. As the new head of our sales department, Chris will be offering special pricing for new advertisers, making now a great time to get 2018 off to a great start for your company.
