BigSquidRC Dirt Jumping Championships – Oct 16th
Mark your calender’s now for Sunday, October 16th. That is when BigSquidRC and the St Louis RC Freaks Club will put on the 2016 Dirt Jumping Championships presented by Castle Creations. This is an rc car long jump competition that takes place entirely on dirt. Competitors will have a 200 foot dirt run-up to a 6 foot tall dirt ramp, then land on a large grass covered dirt area. If you love to go HUGE and have lots of fun, then this event should be considered a “must attend”.
The BSRC Dirt Jumping Championships will feature three different classes- 10th scale and under, 8th scale, and 5th scale. The top three finishers in each class will win plaques. The current long jump world record holder, Paul Bludgen, will be there so you can ask about set-ups and compete again him. We will also be giving away our review ARRMA Raider XL to one lucky person that is competing in the long jump contest.
But wait, there’s more! Along with the jump contest, the STL RC Freaks Club will be having an rc swap meet, a rock crawling competition, a demo derby, and Open Bashing all day long! It will be basically be one huge day of rc bashing fun!
