EVERYBODY’S SCALIN’ – BEAT THE CREEK 2022!
Mark your calendars for May 14th-15th. Big Squid RC will be invading Maysville Kentucky for the 7th annual Beat The Creek! For a few years now I have been trying to get to this event. As life would have it, something would come up and make it so I couldn’t attend. Not this year, along with myself the Scalin’ Squids Greg Holman, MuckBoots, and Wayne’s RC World will be joining for this year’s BTC. Being that this will our first time out to this event, we are going gorilla style so we can get the best coverage and true feel for the event. When we set up the booth it limits us to time on the trails, vender row is a blast but you can’t get the full feel of the event from there. As luck would have it our good friend RCeveryday will be in vendor row alongside 30 others venders and has allowed us to crash at his booth.
From what I have been hearing this event is no joke and a great time. Setting a record attendance last year with over 800 people, BTC 2022 is looking to break that record with over 1,000 attendees this year. So, if you are looking to do some crawling, heavy equipment, rally racing, win raffles, or just looking to people watch. I would check out Beat The Creek 2022, see you there!
