EVERYBODY’S SCALIN’ – BEAT THE CREEK 24!

This years Beat The Creek was one for the record books! Massive amounts of people, and more RC trucks I have ever seen in one place! Vendor Row, Aka Vendor Village as it was renamed during the event due to the size and shape, was packed full of activities for everyone to enjoy. Hell, my kids and a bunch of others had a full-blown Tea party right in the middle. Now that’s just fun for everyone right there. Seeing the growth of this event in just the last 3 years we have been attending is a testament to the growth of the hobby! Getting right around 2,100 people to all come together and play with RC cars is mind-blowing! Well, it use to be. RC events are getting bigger and bigger every year, before long RC events will have to be held in arenas. One can hope, but you all get what I’m saying.

Big Thanks to the BTC staff for all the hard work they had to do in order to keep the event running smooth. And we can’t forget the hosts, Joe and Sue, for inviting the RC world to your beautiful property. Big Squid RC looks forward to next years event. As does the world!
