Hello World!

Hello Big Squid RC world! My name is Chris, but I’m better known in the RC world as Roketmini or Roketcooper. I’m a 17 year old finishing up my Junior year of High school, but don’t think that because I’m a young’un I don’t know much. RC has been in my life for a good 6 years. I’ve also done moderator work for Atomicmods.com and RC411.Com (Xtreme RC Magazine). I am also a part time employee at Al’s Hobby Shop, so these RC and internet things are no strangers to me. I currently own a pile of broken Xmods, a Kyosho Mini-Z Overland, an Axial SCX-10, an Associated RC10GT and Vintage RC300 Pan car, Traxxas T-Maxx 1.0, and a Losi Mini-LST 1.0, Micro-T, and 8ight buggy that is being converted to extreme brushless power. Moving away from the RC scene, I also have a pile of 1988 Volkswagen Jetta that I am in the process of converting into a pretty cool Transformers themed ride.

I’d like to thank Brian for giving me shot at this position, all the other wonderful people on this site for making Big Squid what it is today, Robert Byrd of Atomicmods for giving me my first real RC job, Derek Buono of Xtreme RC cars for letting me moderate the forums, Chip Bello of Al’s Hobby Shop for employing me, and my parents for putting up with the mess all my cars make.
