Horizon Hobby At The Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo 2018
Over the weekend the BigSquidRC Bash Crew traveled to beautiful Denver, Colorado for the 2018 edition of the Rocky Mountain Hobby Expo. Coming out to support the event was the crew from Horizon Hobby. The Horizon crew had one of the largest booths at the show, thus giving them plenty of room to show off their extensive line of rc products.
Horizon Hobby is one of the biggest companies in all of rc. They have air lines like Blade, a boat line-up with Pro Boat, and numerous lines of surface rc like Vaterra, Losi, ECX, Axial Racing, ARRMA, etc. Inside the Horizon booth in Denver was something for everyone- from first time hobbyist to high-end bash machines. The newly announced 1/6 Losi Super Rock Rey was being shown to the public for the very first time in Denver, and needless to say, it was a Giant hit with its incredible scale detailing and bright LED light bars.
Other hits inside the Horizon Hobby booth included the new Spektrum DX5 Pro transmitter, Axial Racing scale crawlers, as well as the latest version of Horizon’s Real Flight flying simulator. The Horizon crew also put on various flying and driving demonstrations over the weekend to show off just how cool their gear works while in action.
