ImpulseRC Singularity Flight Controller
Now here’s some smart thinking from the boys over at ImpulseRC. The just-announced Singularity Flight Controller is an awesome little piece of kit. Why? Well I’ll tell you! The Singularity FC combines a flight controller, BEC and video transmitter all into one, tiny unit. This one little board takes the place of 3 common pieces of FPV gear. I’d say that’s going to make for some exceptionally clean miniquad builds. Here’s a list of features:
- STM32F303 processor, 72MHz with FPU and 256KB of flash
- 400mW 40ch video transmitter
- Change channels/bands with stick commands from your radio
- Motor outputs in correct corners of board
- 128MB/16MB flash for Blackbox logging
- 5V BEC with 2S-4S Lipo input
- 5V power output for camera
- 5V or 3.3V power output for receiver
- MPU6050 gyro/accelerometer
- Micro USB and 2 hardware UARTs
- Dedicated outputs for RGB LEDs, buzzer and telemetry
- Two auxiliary motor outputs for passthrough
- 36mm format with 30.5mm mounting holes
- 4 layers of 2oz copper, gold plated PCB
- 15g weight
The Singularity is in production now and is expected in late December or early January. Pre-orders are not available and pricing is TBD. I will post more info as more info becomes available.
