Injora Rolls Out its “ModuWheel” 1.3" Beadlock Wheels for 1/24 & 1/18 Crawlers
As I look around my collection of R/C things, there’s one item that I see more of than anything else. Wheels. Big wheels, small wheels, wheels of just about every size. While I love havng a wide array of wheels to choose from for my fleet of radio-controlled vehicles, it would be nice if I could swap out certain aspects without the need for an entirely new wheel set.
I may be alone with that thought, but the folks at Injora appear to have had the same idea. They’ve introduced their ModuWheel line of 1.3″ Beadlock Wheels for 1/24 and 1/18-scale R/C crawlers. What sets these wheels apart from others in their lineup is the fact that the carbon fiber wheel faces can be swapped out, allowing you to reuse the inner and outer rings as well as the wheel barrels.
These ModuWheels feature a multi-piece design and offer negative offset (-4.05mm). They are available with three wheelbase designs (6-hole, 8-spoke, and 18-spoke) and two inner and outer ring finishes (silver or rainbow).
A blend of machined aluminum and carbon fiber components helps to keep the weight of these wheels low, with each weighing in at 21g.
