Just in from Israel: The FlyTrex Live 3G!

After the 350QX Fly Away of 2014 (It wasn’t my fault, I swear!), the guys at the office wanted a way to track all of their aircraft so they can recover them with relative ease. My relationship with the developers at FlyTrex was already blossoming, and my plight was quickly solved with a package sent to my door all the way from Israel. Inside this package was the answer to all lost quadcopter’s prayers: the FlyTrex Live 3G.

I have used their non-live telemetry system, and I cannot wait to strap this piece of tech into Brian’s new Blade 350 QX3 AP Combo. This uses the 3G connection of a data based cellular plan to track speed, altitude, location, and battery life live for yourself or for others via instant posting to the FlyTrex website with links posted on your social media accounts.
