LiPo Shootout – Weight Comparison
LiPo Shootout – Weight Comparison Test
Each pack was weighed “ready to drive” with a Dean’s Ultra plug installed. We do believe that the Traxxas connectors are superior, but more people still use Dean’s, and that’s also what all our chargers and trucks were set up for. We used a Pelouze SP5 to measure the weights. This is not some uber high end measurement device, but it was consistently used for each pack, and we checked weight multiple times. Also of note- we awarded maximum points for the lightest pack, but in the real world, the heavier the pack, typically the more current it was designed to put out.
