Losi Micro Rally Car

Kyosho has had the micro on-road scene pretty well locked up since the very beginnings of the class.  Losi, it seems, is keen to lock up the micro off-road scene.  They’ve done a fairly good job of offering performance minded vehicles in tiny packages.  Another job that Losi has been fairly good at is taking one platform and turning it into a ton of different cars.  Their new 1/24 scale, 4wd chassis is the next in line to get the treatment.

This time around we have the Micro Rally Car.  As with the Micro SCT, this chassis features a shaft driven drive-train with gear differentials and a slipper clutch.  It also has a very nice bottom loading battery tray that makes battery swapping easy.   What sets this one apart is the great looking rally car body and rally style wheels and tires.  The Micro Rally will come fully RTR with a 4.8v 220mAh battery and charger included.

I’m actually digging this little guy more than the Micro SCT.  MSRP is $139.99 and it should be shipping in mid August.  Check out the Losi web site for more info.
