LRP Pulsar Touch Competition is more than just a charger

LRP is known for developing great new technologies.  The new Pulsar Touch Competition charger is no exception, it is capable of everything you’d expect of a modern charger, plus a ton more.  It’ll do 1-4 cell LiPos and LiFes plus 1-8 cell NiMHs and NiCds at up to 12 amps, along with an automatic cycling mode for all battery types, and up to 20 amp discharge mode.  The Pulsar Touch also, as the name suggests, features a touch screen interface.  But there’s actually a lot more that this thing does.  It also has a brushless motor sensor port for sensor testing and RPM measurement AND a receiver simulator port that allows you to function check speed controls and servos.  And you can also connect it via USB to download data and perform firmware updates.

The Pulsar Touch isn’t going to come cheap though, MSRP is going to be $399.99.  It should be hitting shelves sometime next month.  Check out the Associated web site for more info.
