Monster Truck Madness – Join me at BIGFOOT 4×4 Open House this weekend!

Bigfoot 4×4 Open House in Pacific, MO is this Saturday June 15th! I will be helping the Trigger King R/C Crew put on the annual Open House Solid Axle R/C Monster Truck Race! (For those wanting general Open House info, check out the official BIGFOOT website– there’s all kinds of full scale monster truck goodness taking place throughout the day)

Here are the latest details for those wanting to partake in the r/c racing. Full rules can be found here. As an FYI, both Traxxas and JConcepts will be on hand showing off some of their latest monster truck products!

• Allowed 1 truck per class, except for Show-N-Shine where it is unlimited.

• $10 per racing entry (Show-N-Shine and Freestyle are free).

• Show-N-Shine – open to all solid axle monster trucks and ALL identities (not limited to just BIGFOOT this year).

• 1 qualifying session and 1 racing bracket for each class.

• We will be weighing and speed testing trucks in the Outlaw Retro Clod class, so please have your Retros ready for these pre-race checks.

• Freestyle will be under our current regular event rules, for the safety of our spectators. Similarly, and as in year’s past, there will be a zero tolerance for debris being ejected into the spectator area during Freestyle. Doing so will result in an immediate disqualification.

• There will not be parking available at or close to the BIGFOOT facility. It is your responsibility to either get to the R/C area very early to unload your gear (and then park elsewhere), or if you cannot arrive until later, to carry your gear to our area from wherever you park.

Approximate Schedule of TK Events:

· 7:00-7:45 – Arrive with gear
· 8:00 am – Register for RC event
· 8:30 am – Show-N-Shine
· 9:00 am – Qualifying/Racing begins

If you arrive any time after 7:45 that morning, there is a good chance that you will not be able to get your vehicle to the R/C area to unload (and I cannot even guarantee access at 7:45). If you are able to get in, please drop your gear and then go park your vehicle.
