The good people over at Tamiya have been teasing their futuristic looking Astute TD2 buggy kit for a few weeks. Today Tamiya released full details on the TD2 to help give you guys more information before its final release. Check out the details below-

* Brand new TD2 2wd chassis
* Newly designed body by Kota Nezu of Znug Design
* 1/10 assembly kit
* Wheelbase – 283mm
* Width- 246mm
* Based around the TD4 chassis
* Front inboard suspension layout
* Front suspension arms have a skid angle of 25 degrees
* Angled CVA oil shocks for smooth suspension movement
* One-piece monocoque frame
* Uses same ball differentials as the TD4
* Full ball bearing set
* Transverse battery pack position
* Midship transverse motor with 3 gear transmission
* Ribbed front and rear square spike tires
* Newly designed star dish wheels
* High and low wing stays to adjust downforce
* Includes realistic driver figure
* High-torque servo saver
