New 8S Capable Traxxas X-Maxx With Video!

HUGE news from Traxxas was announced today- the upcoming X-Maxx monster truck will come with an 8S Capable Brushless System. The latest edition of the X-Maxx marks the first time that a RTR Traxxas truck comes stock with the ability to be run on that much voltage. The 30+ volt X-Maxx will be capable of speeds in excess of 50 mph and should start shipping in February. It has also been beefed up in various areas to make sure it can put the power to the ground. Street pricing for the new X-Maxx will be $899.

For all you current X-Maxx owners, Traxxas is also offering an 8S Upgrade Kit. The kit comes with a bunch of parts, including a new ESC, that will give your first generation X-Maxx the ability to handle 8S LiPo craziness. The part number for the upgrade kit is #7795 and it is priced at $299.
