Redcat Racing Announces the TC8 Marksman 1/8-scale R/C RTR Crawler
While 1/10-scale R/C crawling is one hot ticket, Redcat Racing appears poised to fan the flames of 1/8-scale crawling with its newest release, the TC8 Marksman. Blending what they’ve learned from the popular GEN8 trail platform and the Wendigo Rock Racer, the TC8 Marksman looks like a unique offering for fans of radio-controlled trail trucks.
Sporting a vintage-inspired, Jeep-style body, the Marksman has a rough and rugged appearance that should look right at home on the rocks on the trail. With an open-air, caged design and details like clear headlight lenses, side mirrors, and a molded driver figure, this rig has some impressive visual chops.
In the performance department, Redcat has gifted the TC8 Marksman with some impressive components. With a chassis that appears to be a blend of the 1/10-scale GEN8 and Wendigo, this trail rig utilizes XT247 Heavy-duty axles, 2.2″ Raceline Avenger wheels with Interco SS-M16 tires, and steel c-channel frame rails to ensure durability no matter where your next R/C adventure may take you.
The Marksman is powered by a Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport 550 brushed motor and also features a Hobbywing QuicRun WP 1080 ESC with programming card for easy setup and customization. Other electroics include a digital 25kg servo and a 2-channel 2.4GHz radio system.

- Length: 577mm
- Width: 296mm
- Height: 274mm
- Ground Clearance: 50mm
