Redcat Racing Drops its Latest Lowrider: The 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo
Fans of the low and slow R/C lowrider scene have a new whip to customize in Redcat Racing’s 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo Lowrider. After launching the beautifully crafted-crafted SixtyFour Lowrider in 2020, this follow-up brings a new body and chassis to the marketplace.
The 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo Lowrider features a 1/10-scale body that’s dripping with detail from the chromed front grille to the chromed taillight trim. Two eye-catching body colors are available (green and purple), each with its own unique appeal.
This lowrider sits on four 55mm whitewall tires with scale 14-inch spoked wheels and uses Redcat’s latest lowrider chassis, the LR260. Based on the LRH285 chassis found in the SixtyFour, this model features a front-mounted motor, four 25kg servos for lowering and raising control, and a steering servo.
The Redcat 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Lowrider is priced at $459.99 and will be available for purchase soon at redcatracing.com.
