Redcat Releases the FiftyNine Classic Edition R/C Lowrider
If you missed out on snapping up Redcat’s Jevries Collector’s Edition FiftyNine Lowrider, you’re not entirely out of luck. While those special edition models have sold out, Redcat has released a “Classic Edition” of its FiftyNine R/C Hopping Lowrider.
Based on the same 1959 Chevrolet Impala body style as the Jevries Collector’s Edition, the Classic features the same stunning style and lines with two spot-on retro color schemes. Available in blue and titanium, the FiftyNine Classic Edition R/C Lowrider is a great throwback to classic American automobile styling, with the bonus of a full-featured lowrider/hopping system inside.
Underneath the gleaming paint and chrome accents, the FiftyNine Classic Edition features a REEFS RC 300 Alacritous servo to power its hopping action and two 25kg servos for the rear axle height adjustment. A 6-channel transmitter and receiver enable true-to-life functionality and action when it comes to hopping and popping this lowrider model.
Capping off the realism found on this 1/10-scale machine, a realistic floor pan and exhaust layout is located underneath the car, while scale, 14-inch spoked wheels, and whitewall tires give it an authentic look.
Priced at $599.99, the FiftyNine Classic Edition R/C Lowrider is available at redcatracing.com.
