It's finally here! After years of waiting, the XXX Main guys have finally

if you should be running out to the store or not to get your hands on their latest work.
I feel it's getting harder and harder to do some cool original stuff in the world of RC videos lately. Big jumps,
fire, bigger jumps, destruction, skate parks, it's all been done. I was happy to see that XXX Main fit all
the expected stuff into their DVD plus some good new original stuff.
While this video did not contain any house jumps(I think we all were waiting for a Josh sequel) , it did contain some great new footage, and again raises the
bar for the rest of the RC video world. One of my favorite scenes (no screen shot, since a single screen would seem boring) was
when they are driving along a dirt path in a real car, and racing next to them is a 1/8th scale buggy. The buggy
is jumping, dodging, and just tearing up the path at top speeds. It's hard to explain why this
seems cool, and maybe it won't be to all of you, but it was to me. There's a similar path near where I live,
and every time I drive by, I would day dream of shooting this same scene. I just never had the time or opportunity to
try and pull it off. (It being a major city street didn't help). I could only hope my shot would of
turned out as good. I'm glad they beat me to it.
As with most of their videos, they are cut to some fast paced rockin music, with all sorts of scenes covering every type
of RC genera out there. I really like that! They did a Monster Truck only video (well.. 99% off road vehicles anyway) and it just
didn't keep my attention as well. I also want to mention that the editing in this video was great! Far better
then any of their other videos to date. I didn't feel like I was watching the same 10 scenes over and over again. There
were a couple of shots that showed the same scene from a different camera, and these were all done well. They were of good
shots that I wanted to see again, or see from a different perspective to see how far they did jump, or get a better
feeling for how fast they were going.
Like I mentioned earlier, there was no house jump, but that does not mean there was a lack of big air! There is a TON!
This was a great shot, and when seen from the first camera, it looked great, but didn't really look that far. Then when you
see it from the ground camera... WOW! Another big jump, was the train scene. I won't tell how it ends, it's one
of those must be seen things. I have to stress this is a CRAZY stunt, and I highly recommend that you do not attempt
it! Trains are big! (bigger then you think) and very very dangerous! Kids don't try this stuff at home!
Uh.. huh.. huhuh.. girls. Since this is the UNCUT version of the DVD, we have our share of amazing looking girls.
There was no nudity, so I'm not sure why anyone would not want the UNCUT version, but I suppose if you are
buying it for your younger kids.. then maybe you don't want them to see the ladies. The two from
this scene look familiar. I don't know if they are friends of theirs, or girlfriends, or just some super hot models they know, but
I think they were in a previous video of theirs. The ladies in this video need their own video with some RC cars mixed in. (Call me! ;)
The cooler with the Pro-Line wheels rocked! I think I have a new summer project!
Some other scenes that really stuck out (besides another amazing babe) were the amount of
RC vehicles getting water logged. I have never seen so many trucks ending up in deep water in my life! I would
bet that we see more trucks and cars in water then we actually see boats! It's cool to see, especially since
it's something I avoid doing at all costs! RC Land vehicles and water just send a chill down my spine.
To wrap things up, (I can't believe you are still reading this, and not running down to your local shop
to buy it) this was a great comeback video for them! I say comeback because it has been a long time since their last
video, and I hope that we don't have to wait as long next time! Maybe the filming bug will stick around a little longer
and they will kick out another in a year or so. XXX Main THRE3 is another must own DVD! Even the cover
are was cool! (Nice job whoever did it)
