Rock Racing at Leisure Hours Raceway

Wrench and I stopped out at Leisure Hours Raceway to check out their first opening test and tune day at their new Rock Racing Course. The track itself is pretty gnarly and not for the weak! All those that get upset at a tiny dent in a back straight need not apply! This track eats trucks for lunch and spits them out when it’s full. The Traxxas X-MAXX was doing pretty decent, those huge tires were mostly unfazed at the huge rocks and sometimes boulders scattered throughout the track. Opening Race day is June 18th, and we will be stopping out to check out the turn out, and talk to some of the people brave enough to run on this course.

If you see any of us, make sure to say hello, we will have plenty of stickers to hand out. I’m not 100% sure on what classes and rules they are running, but the flyer lists everything from 1.9 to X-MAXX! That should make things interesting!
