Some Traxxas Vehicles Now Come with LiPo Batteries

We just got word that some Traxxas vehicles will start shipping with a LiPo Battery and LiPo Charger/Balancer. While some people would say this was a long time coming, there are others that aren’t sure if the jump is the best thing. Traxxas vehicles are often the first vehicle for many new people to the hobby, and not having a full understanding of LiPo’s is something we don’t like to think about. Experienced owners will rejoice. It looks like the Traxxas 4200mah LiPo will be the pack in of choice along with the 2s / 3s Charger/Balancer. Vehicles we know for sure getting the new battery replacement or that will have the LiPo as a optional version are the Slash VXL, Bandit VXL, Rustler VXL, Slash 4×4, and Stampede 4×4 VXL. Others may be possible as well, check with your local dealer.
