THE Cub Report – Ya, But Is He Still Alive?

Hello there rc fanatics, thanks for making the trip over to BigSquidRC. Here at BigSquidRC, we are all about the bashing side of the rc hobby, glad you can join us today.

First up this week for THE Cub Report is our recently posted unboxing of the new Traxxas Traxx Set for the TRX-4. The crew at Traxxas keep on putting out trick upgrades for the TRX-4 and the new Traxx Set is sure to end up on a whole bunch of scale crawlers. The set looks trick, and after some miles on a review set, they have been working quite well.

Speaking of scale crawlers, the new RC4WD Collector’s Edition D110 RTR that we posted earlier today is pretty cool. I am a big fan of how they took their very popular D110 RTR and basically bolted on a bunch of the most popular upgrades. For some extra cash you can basically buy an ubered-out D110 that should be more than ready to hit your area’s next scale event.

Oh hey, have you been looking for a big rc event to hit this summer? I don’t think they get much more fan or family friendly than Horizon Hobby’s RC Fest on June 7-9 in Illinois. The Horizon crew has been working on this one for months and it sounds like it will be even bigger than last year. With scale crawling being all the rage right now, they are having a Recon G6 event this year. Also, the BigSquidRC Bash Crew will be there for event coverage, and to help put on their long jump and sumo events. If you’ve never been to Eli Field in Monticello, IL you should consider making the trip for a weekend of friendly rc fun.
