Traxxas Lipo’s and Charger

We broke the news yesterday about Traxxas getting into the battery business. We have a little more info for you as well as a new charger from them! It sounds like Traxxas is going to have all their bases covered, with everything from 2s 1600mah Lipo’s for their 1/16th scale vehicles, all the way up to a monster 3s 12800mah! We have also heard that all newer Traxxas brushed systems since around December/January have been shipping with a lipo cut off esc! We believe if you have the older ESC it fill goto green when turned on, but if you have a newer one with lipo cut off it will go to red. Don’t hold us to that.. I don’t want anyone frying their Lipo’s.. wait for the official press release or till we can get more info.

To go along with their new battery line, Traxxas now has the EQ-Peak Plus 6Amp fast charger. It will be able to handle LiPo, LiFE, NiMH and NiCD. It will come with a lipo charging bag and balancer all for around $100!
