Traxxas Stampede Saves Lives in Afghanistan

Looks like Traxxas is really making the rounds in the news today! Apparently a soldier in Afghanistan was driving his Traxxas Stampede around looking for road-side bombs (it has a wireless camera mounted to it as well) when it triggered a trip-wire causing about 500 pounds of explosives to go of. Something that would of most likely destroyed the vehicle the soldiers were driving in. The credit the truck for most likely saving their lives. It’s a great story, and cool to hear about RC helping in the read world! Lets just hope we don’t have to start paying ‘government prices’ for our Stampedes, because I don’t have $25,000 to spend on a new rc truck! LOL.
