Twist your head off torque…

Monster truck owners listen up.  Hitec‘s got a couple new servos out today that have so much torque that it’s gonna make you wonder whether they’re meant for r/c cars or full size cars.  The HS-7980TH and HS-M7990TH are a couple of monsters that might just break some stuff if you’re not careful.  Both servos feature a staggering 528 oz/in of torque @ 0.20 seconds at 6v or an unthinkable 639 oz/in @ 0.18 sec at 7.4v.  Not only are those numbers something to drool over, these beasts are only slightly larger than other, lesser servos.  The cases measure at 1.72 x 0.88 x 1.57in and weigh in at 2.7oz. Both also feature (require) titanium gear sets.  All this power isn’t going to come cheap though, you’re probably gonna be looking at $200+ price tags on these.
