Unboxing – RC4WD Gelande II Cruiser RTR

The latest hot release from RC4WD is the RTR Gelande II w/ Cruiser Body. We’ve been working on a review for our test unit, but before it goes live, here are some unboxing pictures to show you at home what it looks like to open one up.

First off, we have to say that the newest G2 is absolutely stunning to see in person. RC4WD leads the way for scale realism and the G2 with a Cruiser body is one of the most detailed they have released. From front to rear, the Cruiser has an abundance of scale realism. The rig comes stock with a hard plastic Cruiser body that has windows, side mirrors, and tons of interior details like a steering wheel, seats, and shift levers.

Underneath the body lays the G2 platform which is not only heavy on the scale realism, but also on sheer weight. With most of the truck’s parts being made from real metal, the G2 Cruiser RTR has some heft to it. When you pick the truck up, it feels like what a $500 scaler should weigh.
