Video – Can the Spektrum DX5 Rugged Work Under Water?

So we have been testing the Spektrum DX5 Rugged for a while now, putting it through some extreme testing! we have thrown it high into the air and let it crash down, we have bashed and smashed it. Spektrum says the radio is water-resistant which means you can get it wet, but it’s not waterproof which means submerged. We wanted to see if it would still work, AND see if you can transmit to the car while underwater anyway. Many of us had bets in the office. A few people didn’t think the radio signal would work under water, a few people thought it would just go poof instantly. Well, watch the video and see for yourself what happened.
