This is a custom build I did using a McFarlane Halo Warthog, Jorge is at the helm with a Spartan JFO manning the Rocket Launcher. Who doesn’t want a RC Warthog?
Beneath the top you have a 2WD Stampede VXL chassis. Some aluminum angle was used to make custom mounts to mate the body to the stock shock towers.
Since I had plundered the VXL electronics bundle for another build I tossed in an econo minded Hobbywing brushless system to keep things moving.
The War-Pede has to be sure footed on the battlefield so nothing but Pro-Line Trenchers mated to custom painted split six bead-lock wheels would do…. All the original light cut outs have been milled to make way for custom LEDs placed in front, top and behind. There are some RPM motor guards in the back and some cool Parma Skull sticker sheet adhered to various locations. This build took a lot longer than I will admit (don’t they all) and with that said it is much more of a “Shelfie” than a basher.
